Monday preparations, good to go for the week
New week, new hopes, and new disasters on the way. But it was a good weekend. I wanted to fix more bugs in my flagship SaaS, but I held myself back so I could focus on planning, organizing, and content instead.
Glad I did, because I hit a hyperfocus stretch and now I'm ahead again for the month and the week.
What I did
I started with a checklist in Apple Notes. Small things slip under the radar more than I'd like to admit, and that neglect compounds fast if I don't catch it early. My brain isn't wired for disciplined planning and creating on weekends, so writing it down first is the only thing that keeps me honest.

Pinterest is checked off. I'm set until the end of September. Their native scheduler caps you at ten posts in advance, which is fine by me.

Normally I post one every two days, but this time I loaded a few more. I'm still trying to hold that same pace, so I keep a large enough backlog of pins, but since I've been blogging like a maniac lately, I could soon scale that up to one a day, maybe two eventually.
Also, I select pins at random, but I do track what's done or not. There's no need for me to strictly follow my blog timeline.
Indiehacker.blog and my content for the TWO blog are both checked off too. Indiehacker usually gets one post a week, and I posted one in early September, so another was due in a day or two.
But I was on a roll, so I wrote an extra one, and now I'm set for the rest of the month there as well. My TWO blog content is done for the week too. I keep that one at two posts a week.

That puts me ahead on both, which means I can spend part of the coming week on creative writing, especially on the days I'm sick of fixing my SaaS.
Story Valley
This one's new, though I mentioned it briefly in a recent post. It's a podcast audio channel where I record three to four minute stories for kids, A1 to A2 level.
It's low friction, and the long-term goal is 365 recordings ready to go. But I'm test-driving it with fifteen stories first. Those are scripted, planned, and sitting in my dashboard now.
Next step is timing how long it actually takes to batch-record them, without photos or thumbnails, so I can figure out a realistic pace.
The YouTube channel is ready too, but I'm focusing on Spotify first. It's lower friction for me, and I don't need the extra conversion steps.
Research and notes
I decided to pause the Mac app for now and go all in on fixing my SaaS first. That meant digging through a pile of notes, which is exactly what I'm doing right after I finish writing this.
The cleanup took longer than I expected. I tend to forget to tidy up my recent Claude Code session recaps, and since Claude's been finding more bugs than I bargained for, I had to spend real time putting together a step-by-step plan for the whole week.

On top of that, I built a flowchart and cheat sheet for my podcast workflow. That deserves its own post this week. I already wrote about my distribution plan once, but I realized I needed to see it laid out visually to actually trust it.
All in all, I'm fucking well prepared for the week. Ahead on content, clear on the SaaS plan, and Story Valley is finally moving from an idea to something with stories attached.
